At first I just wanted to do greed + pride, the character dressed in gold looking in the mirror.
But the compo was a bit empty, so I added peons that symbolise envy, and amplify the main character's behaviour.
And the title is a bit pompous, but I couldn't find anything else :D

My books tend to get dark (some more so than others.)

I aim to pull at the heartstrings. I want my readers to feel the character's pain, their grief, their suffering.
