I feel like I've gone on a whole art journey and now I've just circled back to my old style. I think it looks a lot better than it did in March though! It was so fun to paint loose and clean up after. Laid back 😎

From concept to in game! Thought I'd share some vis-dev. After a long pre-prod and a few other protagonists, we settled on a fisherman! I started off quite loose and quickly circled in on the final designs. Tackle's name came to me immediately, Caster's took time to settle on.

It depends upon the painting, but the hand gestures do have significance. In this case, I interpret it as indicating the smaller family units amongst this group of young adult siblings, their parents & grandpa. I’ve circled in two different colours the two young married couples.
