So, kinda struggling with this a bit. The central triangle is good, and the lightning doesn't offset it because it mushes colors with much of the rest of the image. BUT. I think the monster is too desaturated. I think I wanna make it a complementary orangey-yellow? Thoughts?

Finally figured it out! The image was blurry and desaturated because of wrong VAE. Still can't get some parts of the picture right though, ended up painting over the hands and face 😐

Lol just realized the thumb was off when I got back to work on this.

Flat colors are applied and will be working on shading now! I'm going to be using a desaturated brown for Bedi's hair again.

They also desaturate the skin on white characters as well, but I guess it’s worse with dark skin characters since people often draw us like that maliciously. I personally feel like the worst thing they did was how they responded to the situations, not just the art.
