Where's the sexual dimorphism in creature design where the males are tiny and colorful and the females are thicc and brown?!
Right here! :)
These are the Zsalamar from my book and not only does she looks like the same species, she's gorgeous AF.

Also yes there’s sexual dimorphism in Azoth’s species

Sires (they got dicks) have black tear ducts and long fangs

Damzels (coochie) have smaller canines serrated like a shark and they have an extremely powerful bite power and a louder, unsettling hiss

A quick warm-up for today! A study/design exercise using Parasaurolophus and trying to show sexual dimorphism (Like how male peacocks are bright and the peahens are dull) and how that might've been when they were still alive!

Hefty gorls

The boys form tight-knit, territorial fraternities while the girls are nomadic solo hunters; the sexual dimorphism is strong enough that it gave the species different ecological niches, they really only interact during mating season

Dimorphism 2/2

Here's a comic introducing what Annie does when she wants to be a boy. She puts her hair up and gives herself antlers (her ears a byproduct. Alastor enjoys this bit)

Dimorphism 1/2

Once again Annabelle's asking the serious questions. She's decided to take matters into her own hands.

Dimorphism between the sexes is low in most unicorn herds, noticeable only in the thickness of the neck or the presence of a beard. But in some herds the does seem to have made their preferences abundantly clear - they produce some really, /impeccably/ handsome bucks.

Thanks. There needs to be more furry transitions that account for sexual dimorphism. Like this T4T Lion couple ^^

It always surprises me that GCs seem to think that sexual dimorphism is a 'a species has it or doesn't' affair, rather than something that exists in different degrees from 'literally need to run blood samples to be sure' through to 'holy shit those are the same species!?'

I wonder...
Does the hellhounds in the have very notable sexual dimorphism?
All hellhounds we've seen so far have similar body types within genders, but a notable difference between genders. With males much larger and heavily built.

I don't think I've ever said this before but PK's Styracosaurus is so pleasing to me. The best part is how they gave them quills on their backs, which is an idea that could be outdated in 2022, not to mention the designers added in sexual dimorphism and color schemes for the game

Day 2 - Ostrich

Mister Ostrich is proud of his speed. He Likes to run all day long.

And yes, i'm working with male harpies too. Sexual dimorphism, you know?

OKAY SO. Sexual dimorphism in twi'leks. Female twi'leks have ear cones, where male twi'leks have more humanoid ears.
WELL! It looks like the male twi had ear cones. Therefore TRANS'LEK

Hopefully we'll get to see female drell in the next game, but in the meantime, this is how I like to imagine them. There's limited sexual dimorphism, but generally females have a smaller crest and a clear chin. Also maybe more muted colours?

"sexual dimorphism" plus "people not researching the animal they drawing" equals free trans characters !

Somewhat recently I drew Bemalambda nansiungensis, an early pantodont from Asia that is among the basalmost pants, even if it is slightly younger than smaller, older pants like Alcidedorbignya. Shows evidence of sexual dimorphism and was probably a competent digger!

After days of planning and drawing, here's my Scorpios Rex redesign!!

They display extreme sexual dimorphism similar to that of the Anglerfish (large one is the female, small one is the male)
