But over all, I still think both games are good, just that they have different things they do well.

I think the story is better and dismounting is good in 3, and I think the assasain subplot and Shadow Dragon reclassing makes 12 have its own merits.

Honestly, play both.

There was one noticable change though- dismounting. This made the series problem with cavalry dominance MUCH more bearable, as now in doors, cavalry must dismount and lose their incredible advantages. However, since weapon rank was a single stat, it didnt cripple them like in 5.
