"Why is the displacer beast trying to claw and bite people in the D&D movie when it doesn't even have a claw or bite attack in its stat block?" is really more a complaint about the game than the movie. Look at the teeth and SIX claws on this thing.

I know I have seen the art for the displacer beast and owlbear before as well.
Maybe Wizards lifted those from Pathfinder like they did the intellect devourer art, too.

7. This weapon never really got a name but (If I did give it one i don't remember), it uses Water, Fire, Steam and Ice.
She's had this weapon 3 years before X & Y came out.
Pretty sure the basis was a super modified Hydrodisplacer/Omni-soaker but for those specific elements.
Played my Displacer beast monk this Friday in a Pathfinder game. He's so fuuuun! Big boy, soft hearted, keeps knocking things over like a cat dose uwu. And panches like a TRUCK! in battle ^^.
