DKR's Batman design was an updated version of Dick Sprang's, I always thought (even Robin's scale). Not sure if I read Miller confirming that somewhere or if it's obvious. Makes me love it even more, if true

The design was requested by the DKR speedrun community after being a fan of the drawing I made during the speedrun for it during AGDQ 2021! I'm still happy with this drawing and was excited about how well it translated to a shirt design!

All right to talk about the Subtext of this doctor in DKR it's less making fun of psychiatrists than it is MAKING FUN OF ONE SPECIFIC one. The guy is a stand-in for Fredric Wertham and his attack on comics in the the 1950's and how Batman was corrupting the youth.
