Sterling Holloway. What a voice! He was a good supporting actor in 2 Barbara Stanwyck films, as Willie in Remember The Night and Dan in Meet John Doe. He did great voice work for Disney, especially as the Cheshire Cat in Alice In Wonderland and Kaa the Snake in Jungle Book

A little slower in spots than some similar animated films, but the animation is really nice and it’s a good story.

Plus, even though TOH has a very simplistic artsyle compared to classic films, I think the execution Alex Hirsch has on King's voice *definitely* nails the emotion in his more significant scenes.

Happy New Year! I went back through my 2022 Media thread and made 3 x 3s of my favorite films, games, manga, and anime that I've went through!

Bocchi the Rock should've been on my anime 3x3 but my stupid friend that I watch it with went to Omaha so we couldn't finish it in time

lots of design ideas are repeated and reused across four different films, which isn't unusual, but when looked at compared to the greater stylistic diversity of other (fairly mainstream) studios you gotta ask what they're doing here when they were once the boundary pushers

78. Last Night in Soho (2021 Film)

I desperately need Edgar Wright to direct more horror films, this was probably the most consistently tense I've ever felt watching one.

Genuinely recommend this one to all my horror loving followers, it's SO fucking good!

101 Dalmatians (1961) has so many gorgeous backgrounds. Up there with Sleeping Beauty & Fantasia for best art direction of the Disney films, to me.
Art Direction/Production Design: Ken Anderson
BGs: Al Dempster, Ralph Hulett, Anthony Rizzo & Bill Layne
Color Styling: Walt Peregoy

-story about overcoming depression and accepting changes. The main character, Miyori, is pretty well written and developed and I it was touching to watch her grow and mature through the story.
If you like Ghibli's films, it's not as good but it's really similar, so try it! 🌳

END OF AN ERA.

BEGINNING OF THE DCU.

I really hope the future is bright for the

This is really all I want for these characters. I want great films, with great characters.

The reboot is a chance to rebuild these great characters and rebuild the cinematic universe

You know what, fuck it..!!!
Henry Cavill will be the face of Superman in my DCPO fan-films

I always wanted him for my fan-films, but worried about clashing with the other movie timelines and chose someone else for the character.

Not anymore.

Spectacular Spider-Man is my all-time favorite iteration of the character. I really hope he makes an appearance in the Spider-Verse films, even if it’s just a brief cameo.

If I had a nickel for every time I saw and enjoyed seeing white-colored monkeys in stop-motion films, I'd have two nickels… which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice.
