IT'S SPOOKY MONTH!! How can you have spooky without some dark type fossil pokemon? Fakemon? Whatever terms you kids use today, lol Is just a sketch. I may make a pre evolution and a fossil. We will see.

Sinosaurpteryx, one of the few dinosaurs discovered so far with have a distinct pattern and color. Scientists found it to have a red and white ring pattern tail on its fossil.

Another design created later got rid of the armor gimmick and made it just a robot that just transforms from a fossil. I think a lot of these designs where in reaction to Bandai's Rocklords so they where prepared to act if it was popular concept.

Finished my reference sheet for the redesigned Fossil. I wanted to make him easier to animate but also stand out as more than just a skeleton, so I made him a sort of chimera of other skeletons. I hope you enjoy the little lad!
