wij zitten hier in het gammele strandhuis... maakte mij toch al niet waar we waren
Today, I want to share one of my favorite picture books about days that are almost forgotten. The Relatives Came, written by Cynthia Rylant & illustrated by Stephen Gammell, 1993. it reminds me of my childhood holidays. 522 masterful words. Happy Thanksgiving from the mountains.
“I think of myself as an artist—admittedly a basic term that can mean almost anything. In a deep sense, I am my work—what you see on the page is really me.”
Here is our #arthistory post on Stephen Gammell. https://t.co/P2UvBUrD8m
Looking forward to the SCARY STORIES TO TELL IN THE DARK sequel from @RealGDT and @Filmtroll. Here's my concept poster inspired by the work of the great Stephen Gammell. Can you guess which story this one is based on? #digitalartist #horrormovies #scarystories

Wir sehen uns Morgen Mittag im Stream 😊🌈
This kids book The Relatives Came is very nice but the art is by Stephen Gammell, the same (incredible) artist that did the legendary Scary stories to tell in the dark books & based on the strength of that alone this fun family yarn is just bubbling over with menace & bad vibes
Du kender måske ikke umiddelbart navnet Enzo Sciotti, men du kender uden tvivl hans kunst.
Den italienske plakatlegende døde for nylig blot 76 år gammel.
Du finder bl.a. et udsnit af nogle af hans kreationer her: https://t.co/1W2oYXwXDQ
@scumbelievable - Most of the awakened beings from Claymore are great, but Jean's awakened form holds a special place in my heart.
- the cosmic abomination from D.Y.E.'s Fantasy video
- fish monster from The Host
- Stephen Gammell's Scary Stories illustrations, especially whatever this guy is
