Jack the Beanstalk is what would happen if I retold Jack and the Beanstalk. Gigantic deer dryad, with a penchant for sunbathing and bullying giants, normally hundreds of metres tall.

There are many stories and myths in Mesoamerican cultures about these mythical creatures, So far, we have included in our game three different versions of these giants, we are working on different mechanics and body types: elongated Mayan skulls, tree-like creatures, giant orcs

Folk tales from Slovene Alpine regions tell that "divje žene" - wild women - used to live in mountain caves. Some stories describe them as kind giants, willing to help good people.
In other stories they're white and beautiful - wise but dangerous if people offended them.

Some fun color pencil pieces I made over the last few years. Thor and some ice giants, the DC trinity, and Donatello. Enjoy.

Creatures of Spriggan (Cornish)
Grotesque looking fae folk said to be ghosts of giants, their small stature betraying their strength. Usually having an unpleasant disposition, they delight in working mischief to any who have offended them. Sometimes confused with dryads.

Nah man that's one of the Zelda giants, frozen in ice right after the face surgery that turned him into 🗿

He is keeping watch on the moon, even in his frozen slumber

On their way out of the kingdom of the frost giants, Karnilla sees the body of Rattusk, the creature who betrayed Balder. But since Balder is kind and gracious, he leaves that part out of the story, and only tells of how Rattusk helped him.

Goddamn I’m thinking about Prehistoric life again…I need to make my Prehistoric Black Metal project. A requiem for the lost souls before the arrival of the Holocene and the Sins of Mammalian life. Cruel seas, skies full of giants, great and terrible beasts that roam the land
