Just watched Tokyo Godfathers (2003). An excellent festive film, with surprisingly, really good trans protagonist! Animation by Satoshi Kon, unsurprisingly, is gloriously detailed & extremely sleek. Recommending it big time!

Keiko Nobumoto, the writer of great anime shows like Cowboy Bebop and Tokyo Godfathers, and the creator of Wolf's Rain, died on 1 December at the age of 57 after a hard battle with esophageal cancer. Her death was confirmed today by director Shinchiro Watanabe. 💔

If anyone is looking for an awesome and unique Christmas movie, I humbly suggest Tokyo Godfathers by Satoshi Kon. One of the best animated movies ever made IMO
