So apparently there is a new mobile RPG game called "404 GAME RE:SET -Error Game Reset-" by SEGA coming out in Japan this Spring 2023. It uses classic SEGA IPs turned in beautiful girls & will expand its activities on a unique stage where SEGA dominates the world. (1/2)

One thing I really appreciate about this is the attention paid to the GBC and GBA’s color palettes.

I hope Square Enix stops giving new IPs the Bravely Default logo style. It was unique when BD did it but now it's progressively getting more boring with every new series that uses it. Please go back to distinct logos that make games stand out much better. 🙏

I love how Kamen Rider Kabuto for PS2 attempts to tie Kamen Rider Kabuto: Godspeed Love into the main continuity by changing the sequence of events entirely to fit cleanly. I thought that was something only American IPS did with tie in games but I guess not?

I think if you plan on adding meta humor to your story, you should understand the aim. Games that have them execute it differently. You're not just making fun of the work or the audience but rather embracing them cynically but humorously. These four IPs are big examples.
