Most of my characters are unusual species i think. Zep the ant (by moOngoldensk), Apophis the rhino, Joints the kosmoceratops, Tone the aardvark.
Dinos, insects and large or wild mammals are uncommon and under appreciated, especially when you get down to specifics

Yeah she's weird, her legs still give me trouble too. She's one of those designs where you don't really question it until you draw it.
