I've just found the HARDEST @valhalla and here's why i think this one was the most difficult to create. A quick thread on PFP projects and layering them properly. And how Valhalla achieved this crazy, almost like 3D look/feel to them. Barely any project does this.

I just realized one thing stayed from my first FNAF OC skin (2020) to my current: The heart chest. Even the same outer layering too. I changed the heart a lot but it ultimately ended in the same shape and the same spot.
It takes hundreds of hours to produce the context and prepare each element - and layering of colors is on another level of perception when you work with custom shapes and types of adding the color/shadow/message. Have a look at each detail here and see the craft of cuts:
best i can do rn is 2am shitty ms paint yeen drawn on laptop touchpad that i accidentally drew w/ the default brush so it has those ugly white dots left over from the fill tool bc ms paint still does not support layering in 2023 but theres probably a workaround i dont know about
The creative process is straightforward yet impactful, using primarily their phone and Photoshop. They start with a single image, usually a photo of an environment, and add elements of drawing, layering, collaging, and recoloring to create something truly extraordinary.
Barks! I’ve never tried layering the ratio over my art before bc I usually just do portraits but heyyy how did I pull this off shdbsjsj
What is "Shirt Layering"?
As the name implies:
Taking a simple top that looks like it could go in the shirt slot, and then putting another shirt underneath for a layered look.

And here's the 2nd Sienna fan art painted <3
These 2 fan arts were also to try 2 papers, this is Winsor & Newton 100% cotton cold pressed.
I love the light grain and the layering capacity (I'm not sure that's proper English). I'll gladly paint more on this one.
@artscribbles I have and always will be a HUGE fan of the Men-at-Arms series by Osprey Publishing! The art is amazing and the layering breakdowns are invaluable! Beyond that, museums and certain historical reenactments provide amazing reference!
Some sandwich chefs :-) had lots of fun drawing these guys and playing with texture and layering!
After many, many hours of tracking down historical maps and layering them with topographic maps, I’ve managed to create this #hexcrawl map of 16th-century Britain for my custom #ForbiddenLands #ttrpg Gunpowder, black sorcery, and the Lich Queen, Elizabeth I!Almost there…
Bit of an update to this pic, slow work in progress…

Zhongli's new outfit ... gosh,
I'm such a sucker for these criss-cross braid-like layering designs on character outfits. Love it on Loki, love it on Pantalone, love it on Merlin 😍
Illustrating flowers is a great way to practice layering colors and creating depth in your artwork. Give it a try! #arttips #floralillustration
The brush in question is the first one I lay down all my main shapes with before I started layering other textures over. After that, everything was just messing around with my tools.
that go with it. Take these two images as an example. The first is a normal PNG of a bobble commission, and the second is the model! You can already tell the difference in quality. SO while my bobble looks very simple, there's a lot of work put into layering!
