Judith Leyster(1609-1660)Dutch Golden Age painter. Painted genre works, portraits & still lifes. Work was highly regarded by her contemporaries but her paintings became forgotten after her death. Entire oeuvre was attributed 2 Frans Hals or 2 her husband, Molenaer, until 1893.
