Here is my Alexstrasza cosplay from 2014. It was long before I discovered Worbla, EVA and other "Normal" things. So, I made this costume out of cheap materials like papier mache, linoleum, yoga mats. Still love the result.

The origin of the idiom “bookworm” was a derogatory term for a person who studied or read more than was usual. Bugs such as silverfish, book lice, & linoleum beetles were referred to as bookworms because they inhabited books. Therefore I will only respond to book owl now!

This is the project I asked my sister to find, turns out I liked drawing flowers even then 💐 She also found the original sketch + carving, which is great bc now I'm remembering 7AM winter mornings trying to carve a hard block of linoleum and giving up halfway bc hand cramps ⚡️
