#Ida's presentation is just remarkable. Granted stuff like Irma, Dorian, etc you see the classic donut shape when get cat 4+ hurica es but is always amazing when it appears. Again meteorologically speaking this storm is just wild.
Every hurricane is different and unique.
Welp....there we go. It is official.
Hurricane #Ida is now Cat 4. 130mph.....STILL explosively intensfying. Damn.
Look at the eye clearing too. Meteorologically speaking this storm is absolutely incredible and fascinating....but not good for Louisiana.

The start of meteorological autumn but at least it's still nice and sunny today! 🍂
September 1st is the start of meteorological autumn, my favourite season, and brings warm memories of a dark piece I wrote about an otter being chosen for the gorgeous Autumn anthology edited by @M_Z_Harrison. It marked the beginning of a new life chapter. https://t.co/bKqB2qyAxM
It’s Autumn (meteorologically speaking)!
To cheer you up here’s some nice pics of what to expect, courtesy of the incomparable C F Tunnicliffe.
