Day 26: A BL manga that is a masterpiece

I'll talk again about the incredible "Yuki and Matsu (雪と松)" by Takahashi Hidebu. It's poetic, cinematic, while having a straightforward narrative.

A trio of owls

Owls are so weird and expressive!

It’s often not til I’m 50-75% done that I know what the text will be

I can’t listen to tv, podcasts or even music with words while I make work with a narrative. I have to let them tell me their story

Trevor Grimshaw used Telegraph poles as if Crucifixes on Calvary Hill. Theodore Major usually combined dramatic lighting with a redemptive narrative. 🤔

And "its ok if a cat who's existence is to sexually harass her does it." That's important and a key part of the game's narrative. (TN: They're all terrible)

Day 19 for is Lizard for Brains, which may have been the hardest yet to wiggle into this narrative. I’m happy that it got weird and silly though. Spooky is good but I still want it to be fun.
