Yup, this was the first time I realized that the colour-burst part of the composite signal was different between PAL and NTSC. 🤓 We had the reverse of you: a PAL PlayStation, and the NTSC version of Tekken played perfectly, but in Black & White. 📺

IIRC, there are some NTSC versions that, when played on a PAL machine, would kill you if any of the droids electric burst goes off-screen, into the border. 😮 Makes it just impossible to play. But, I love playing right through and seeing that ending on the C64. 👍
