The biggest irony here is how much more this resembles a classic Hudson Soft puzzler—not even just their famous version of Lode Runner—than it does anything Falcom had made.
Perhaps Hudson's many Ys games for PC Engine CD had made them the series' inheritors in some fans' eyes?
Completed the Daydream: Forgotten Sorrow @day_dream_game demo from @Ravenage_games a somewhat creepy puzzler where you seem to be in some kinda of Nightmare world. A few control niggles but overall I enjoyed it and look forward to seeing the final game releases.
@ApacheSmash I'd assume something in the similar style, but the framing of Snake is so specific, I can see why finding an accompanying Raiden one would be a puzzler.
Fells like anything in a similar style has them both or isn't framed to compliment the other.
So this #bugsnax was a puzzler for me on what to do.... but then I realized. Sizzling Sands had ruins. so I made Meaty Snakpod an elderly woman that still lives in them.

One of the last games I played on the C64 (I switched to the Amiga in '89) Pipe Mania is simple but maddeningly addictive. Like lots of puzzlers, graphics and sound aren’t flash, but the playability is off the scale.
