I fixed my first attempt at reconstructing Anteosaurus cf. magnificus skull, I've known a lot more better than before and this wouldn't even be possible without the help of @Synapsida and @kuzim_za
The skull is now looking far better than before and with even nastier teeth!
I have a #TwilightPrincess fic in the works (Remake of a shitty one I had as a teen) and honestly I don't know how interesting it'd be for anyone other than myself as it would center on Zelda reconstructing Hyrule's history... but, like. There.

I spent a whole hour reconstructing what I could from the stream after I lost the file to a corruption, but WE'RE BACK AND I'M GONNA FINISH THIS PIECE IF IT'S THE LAST THING I DO

Another Calgary Zoo instalment, Spinosaurus! Major thanks to @kathronodon for her help with reconstructing the hands of this awesome predator!
Instead of showing it as a fast aquatic predator, I've painted this fella just taking a leisurely soak on a hot day
A very Happy Birthday to one of the best paleoartists out there, Gabriel Ugueto @SerpenIllus!!!! He has always been one of my biggest inspirations, and you'd be hard pressed to find anyone with his skill in reconstructing extinct reptiles & amphibians 🎊🎉🎁🎂🎈🐢🐍🦎🐸
We have so much more to show you. To learn more about the #paleoartprocess of reconstructing #Ornatops & a link to the scientific paper check out my blog here: https://t.co/QnRQjIUj58

Don't usually partake in many hashtags, but this one seems fun! I love painting/reconstructing extinct life, especially mammals. #SciArtTweetStorm

@JoschuaKnuppe I had a quick question for you. When reconstructing your Paralititan, what species did you use for reference due to the incomplete nature of the animal? Also, would you still stand by this illustration or is there anything you wanna update? Thanks!
Finally complete! We've fully assembled the #3dprinted #Tyrannosaurus at @museumnaturalis. Seeing a field photo of Trix's skull in the papers 8 years ago contributed to me quitting medicine. I switched to movement sciences, but somehow wound up reconstructing Trix's 3D twin 😁🦖

Reconstructing sauropterygians and their often not very flexible bodies, paddled feet and mouth full teeth is quickly becoming one of my favorite things to do! #paleoart #sciart #sauropterygians
Because this fish is rather obscure and there's only a handful fossils to look for reconstructing, I used its close relative the Strunius and Qingmenodus as reference and also use extant Hoplias sp. as other reference, that gave me 2 version of the Onychodus as illustrated below

Reconstructing the missing bones in Amurosaurus riabinini. I'm using the known maxillae and quadrate bones to fit in the missing pterygoid bones and using other lambeosaurine hadrosaurs as reference to fill in the gaps.

@vergolophus It's called a paleo-meme when people do that. Example: giving theropod dinosaur lips or feathers. Right now, the big paleomeme for reconstructing t rex mostly fatherless and with lips.
#FossilFriday A new study on one individual of Parasaurolophus finds that it must have suffered some serious (yet healing) injuries to the ribs, hip, and face. The paper has some great discussion about reconstructing the necks of hadrosaurs [🎨: Marco Auditore, Marzio Mereggia]
