I've had two rejections for my Moth-Bean pb manuscript so far today. That's ok! It's kinda scary but I know it might not ever get published. But I did this. And that's amazing.

The ultimate view is to be free of all positions.
The ultimate meditation is to be free of all mental engagements.
The ultimate action is to be free of all affirmations and rejections.

Phew. Two rejections in two hours sucks.

In the spirit of Loki: Very Sad. Anyway.

Here's some art for my next WIP. Even has a little driftwood color in it for last week's challenge.

I've been bummed out bc I kept getting rejections from zines I've applied to... but hey, maybe one day. For now, I'll keep on working on my original works and challenging myself! Fly higher into the sky, my friends

Be Not Afraid.

Love to draw angels as they were intended: as rejections of the supremacy of the human form and symbols of the cosmic terror inherent to interactions with the simulteneous familiarity and otherness of divinity.

I love how Hickman distinguished Isca and Namor through these two rejections, as characters and leaders of their nations

Rejections suck… I know what that’s like…

Anyway I’m really sorry…

Some sketches that were submitted, but sadly never made it to final. If you've had rejections, remember that sometimes it has nothing to do with your work. Sometimes stuff just doesn't pan out.

Thanks so much for the thread.

A tip I saw from @/Hamm_Tips which I think more artists should remember: Art submissions shouldn't be treated as marriage proposals (rejection is devastating). It should be treated like fishing -- rejections and recasting your hook are expected.

Few days ago I received my copy from and I can post my piece after almost a year ^^ It was my first zine after a lot of rejections, it gave me hope and is very special for being one of my first experiences. Thank you so much for accepting me!

🔥 New series on Manta!

This world has mutants: dogs, cats, rabbits, tigers, and foxes. Shunned by those who fear their "unnatural" existence, their lives have always been a series of rejections. This is their story.

Hop into now! Only on Manta.

GRITT (Itonje Søimer Guttormsen) , terrific performance by Birgitte Larsen making sense of the world as an artist, dealing with rejections, privilege, mental crisis. "Simultaneously I seek a peaceful and argumentative co-existence for myself in-between theory and practice."
