I shall share unnamed new oc who is blind (can only see splotches of color) and has unnamed joint problems (they also use a wheelchair if needed). They work as a DJ in an underground splatoon city I made up (called Light Above, L.A. for short). 1/2

These are wooden cutouts with a layer of paint, wax drips, then another layer of paint. Once everything's dry, I scrape off that last layer of paint et voila! Splotches!

And they smell like pumpkin spice because that was the kind of candle I used for the wax.

oh really?? i suppose that method heavily depends on the geometry of the object then, because whenever i use it i get weird splotches at certain angles where the outline kinda just stops existing

My shading process is so messy. Just 'here's a splotch of colour here and there and there and here' and BLEND THE FUCK OUT OF IT UNTIL IT MAKES SENSE.
