Kowloon Generic Romance (manga)
Real estate agent Reiko has lived a somewhat mundane life in Kowloon, the most densely populated city on Earth. As time passes, Reiko experiences mysterious yet nostalgic happenings around her as Kowloon is not what it seems on the surface.
The famous four color theorem says that you can color any map on the sphere with four or fewer colors. There's a similar result for every surface. For a torus, a map may require as many as seven colors, such as this one. Each of the seven "countries" borders every other country.
Feeling so happy with how this sketch is turning out!
It scratches a peculiar itch when I start making passes with softer, darker pencils. That's when the graphite starts to get shiny and slippery, which some artists don't like, but I think it adds a cool sheen to the surface.
