This could just be an odd comment about how good the access is, for wheelchairs, in the coffee shop you are sitting in. This may start a conversation about disABILITY. If it doesn't maybe the next time it will! #thinkINC
One young girl with TS said, "I distinctly remember my first tic. Sitting in a quiet waiting room, I suddenly clenched my jaw & bit my tongue really hard. I was immediately uncomfortable & worried. Why was I not able to control this?" A frightening experience. #thinkINC
It's clear to me that low-income countries face many challenges in providing health care that meets the needs of their disABLED population. However, improvements are being made. #thinkINC
4) Make time for yourself. Living with a loved one who has FND can be tough. Severe FND can change marital relationships in to a more patient-carer relationship that takes its toll in both directions. Make time for you. #thinkINC

Many people who have a late diagnosis report trying to mask their differences, e.g., following other children in class to complete an activity, being overly shy or quiet as they don't quite understand what is going on or choosing not to go to social occasions. #thinkINC
This Inclusion Hour is called, "Better Late Than Never." It's all about people who receive a diagnosis of a difference later in life. #thinkINC
Hi & #welcome to the Busy Life Inclusion Hour! Whose joining me this evening to like, comment, tweet and retweet about #disABILITY with a positive twist! All welcome! Just use #thinkINC. How are you all this evening?
Today, I'm sharing this brilliant @Hattiesfriends book, A Day at the Zoo. Hattie and her friend, George, are going to have so much fun seeing all the animals! TO BUY NOW:

Stage 4 of the EHCP process is "Planning". These involves taking all of the information found from the assessments and, where these find that more support is needed, putting this into a plan template. #thinkINC
So, stage 3 "Co-ordinated Assessment". The plan should focus on the outcomes the child wants to achieve, & set out how services will work together to support these outcomes. It should also specify how any personal budget is used to deliver some or all of the EHC Plan. #thinkINC
“Inclusion elevates all.” – Elaine Hall" This quote is so empowering and really makes me smile. How about you? #thinkINC
This is one I find really empowering, "There is nothing greater to love and to be loved." I think of my lovely children when I read this. #thinkINC
And finally, Myth 5. Autism is caused by bad parenting. Not true! Children who are autistic do not respond to the same parenting techniques as a neurotypical child does. Parents' need to use different techniques to get them to do everyday things. #thinkINC
Myth Four. Autism used to be rare but now it's common. Not true! There have been advances in medical science meaning that autism is more easily diagnosed. Also, people are more open, today, to either being or having their child diagnosed. #thinkINC
