In my thread on Takahashi I mentioned that Capsule Monster Chess was inspired by various gachapon toylines running at the time. A key development in 1994 was painted gacha toys--it became practical to manufacture and paint small parts while still selling for 100~200 yen. (1/10)

There's some from this toyline called Mechatro-We-Go that has nichijou characters as well!
People hate this for not being a "proper" Wreckers book, and I can understand that, but what really gets me is it's not a good piece of fiction for the Speedia 500 toyline. The plot centers around a few new Legacy mainline toys, with only two Speedia characters in minor roles.

One thing I would love to see would be if @JAKKStoys expanded their #Sonic toyline by also making figs of some of the Sonic comic characters. If they do, I certainley would buy them, and I’m sure others would too! There’s lots of great designs here!

Back at it again, this time with a repaint of Energon Arcee in the Transformers Movie toyline, but

@MoescatoB Judging by the art, it's final. The retro series are in this weird middle ground where it's trying to do the cartoon, comic, and the original toyline all at once. Heck the Iron Spider in the line is based off the Gamerverse version.
@dbaroldy Those adventure characters shown there never came out....the toyline had different drivers than what was on the show...a real disconnect in marketing.
I still loved the vehicles and their size
the best fucking toy ever, shame they made it into more of a series than a toyline :/ giving them realistic hair was the downfall for me..
