I think my favorite collection of Pokémon sprites is the Red/Blue set. Not because of nostalgia, but because of their sense of otherworldliness. Yellow would see the sprites changed to look more like their promotional/anime counterparts, so Red/Blue's remain wild and uncanny.
For my birthday, Professor Leskinen got me the most thoughtful gift of a worldline. A super special surprise from heaven. A hologram of Kurisu. 🌰🍚 It is so lifelike! We watched it over and over, filled with emotion.

@JessiSheron I guess the otherworldliness of the environment to Chihiro is conveyed through how un-eastern it looks. Yubaba is strangest of all so her whole look goes beyond Chinese and into European, aping the Carricatured English Etchings which were directly inspired by Japanese Grotesques

Alright well, here's my theory of how Re:Mind fits into the timeline of KH3. This assumes that there is in fact a previous timeline/worldline that Sora had forgotten about by the start of KH3, in the same way the Dandelions in KHUX forgot about the first worldline in KHX.
