I remember someone on DeviantART (ages ago) leaving a thoughtful comment on how I was one of the few artists who was not afraid to age up her OCs—like draw them getting older with wrinkles and whatnot. The trick is appreciation. There are things I appreciate about every age.

I've been working on multiple projects this month, this is my first time using layers in zbrush to do these wrinkles.

Depends on the texture of clothing to me a lot of the time, if I draw in any clothing wrinkles I circle them around the shape with shading, as well as emphasize the under portion with shading to bring out weight! I also keep the top a little lighter for that rounder feel!

I always exaggerate his wrinkles and i give him a overbite its good to look at old mythical demon art it really helps 😭

can't believe that during those 400 years, flapjack apparently had a better skincare routine in the bat queen's cave than the fella who was cherished and cared for by the clawthornes. look at those wrinkles, that is a senior citizen

The last two wrinkles in the family, at least for awhile lol
Thank you so so much to @/neneevt and @/BokuVT for commissioning me and being so patient with me! Welcome to the wrinkle party <3

a lot of artists know that dark-skinned people have lighter-colored palms, soles of feet, etc
but they also have more pronounced/more contrasting lines/wrinkles on their palms - but more importantly there's less melanin on thr fingertips too

QRT with 4 faces you’re proud of! 💞

These probably aren’t the most exciting expressions ever, but I take great joy in drawing little details on faces like wrinkles around the eyes or the creases near smiles :’3 https://t.co/KM4qoE2AeY

adding extra little details to ur work is fun (eyelashes of different shapes and lengths, fingernails, wrinkles especially around the eyes, dimples, moles EVERYWHERE you can think of, different eyebrow shapes, etc) and makes you feel better about your art bc of the extra effort https://t.co/F8AfY5x7id

I love when he’s an ugly rat man and not just some anime guy with no wrinkles.

I agree here though I can't help loving astronauts/space travelers/journeys through universes and multiverses all explored through art. It's good to add wrinkles and new ideas to this though. I'd like to think this is sort of a fresh idea:
