also my jam is making acts one and two outfits both look a bit uncomfortable on characters and then merging articles of clothing from both outfits for the act 3 look, that suits the character most? (eg in 3, the 'top' is the dress from 1 cut/ripped in half)

how i start a painting if anyone's interested... lots of chunky shadows and highlights until i refine it and start rendering the textures this is 2 hours from start to finish (timelapse is a minute and a half) and then a fully rendered painting is like 5-6 hours
