I'm such a weeb lmao. Most of the comics I've read is probably 80% manga. First comic is probably Urasawa's Monster. Left an impression in 6th grade lol. JJBA helped me when suffering thru my 2nd yr in college, and became a massive influence too. The rest is shoujo~ 😂

Sonic The Comic was the first comic I owned
Spider-Man is what got me into comics
Civil War was the comic that got me into more of the mainstream comic books from Marvel
ELEPHANTMEN was the comic that made me want. to read more indie comics

My are these books I’ve bought more than once and def drew a lot of panels of as a kid/high schooler

Saw this on feed, thought I'd join the fun! Bought Ghost Rider with saved up bday money, still have the original beat up copy. SPAWN, Mcfarlane's artwork & story hooked me instantly. Batman & Wolverine are staples, art & stories are awesome!

My ! I've always switched back and fourth between shounen and shoujo haha

finding kh manga in a walmart was literally my first exposure to the fact manga existed, I'm not even joking. I still love the styling. I feel like these are all relatively self explanatory, if not scathing callouts to myself lol

Okay sure.
Sonic 2 is the earliest single comic I remember buying. The others were definitely my most reread over childhood.
Also, lots of Garfield and Archie digests laying around relatives houses.

I obsess over Ginga Nagareboshi Gin, Soul Eater and Fullmetal Alchemist & more recently I've been loving Beasts of Burden! I'd love to emulate the energy in Atsushi Ohkubo's fight sequences and I could spend hours looking at Hiromu Arakawa's backgrounds!!
