My biggest hope for FFXVI is a Motley crew of characters and not like XV where everyone was buddies from youth or whatever. Being it’s the XIV team I have faith. Just make them look different and weird from each other.

Famitsu posted their yearly game developer comments on their aspirations for 2022.

Yoshi-P says 2022 is the start of a new story and adventure for FF14 and the team needs to polish FF16 to fit its initial concepts. He mentions he'll go full throttle in Spring.

Really hoping to see FFXVI "rereveal" at TGA today. Forspoken would be cool to see too, but XVI hasn't been shown in 2021 yet, it's time!
I expect Chrono Cross remaster because the rumours and leaks line up to today.
Wouldn't be surprised if FF7R PC (EGS lol) version is revealed.
