Flora is the Roman goddess of flowers. She had a special garden which featured all of the mythological creatures who turned into flowers upon their deaths. Among them were Narcissus, Hyacinth, Ajax/larkspur, Clytie/sunflower & Adonis/anemone.

In 1978, we got this beautiful book. 72 pages by Gerry Conway, Rich Buckler and Dick Giordano (and a host of other inkers helping out). And you had Superman, Captain Marvel, Supergirl and Mary Marvel. Young readers' minds blown across the world! What a book!
