Some time ago I tried 2D again, I wanted to try something different.
I decided to lineart and color over a previous SFM piece of mine.
While I did use the original posing to help lineart, the coloring/shading is all me, and I was pretty satisfied with it ~ ❤️🎧🍇

Thought I would share a bit about how I create my pages! I start with my thumbnails, planning speech bubble layout from the start. I then draw my rough pencils so I can see it on the page at the actual size. Then lineart, which includes some changes. And then colour and text!

This took 3 hours >w< Mainly collecting various artworks to analyse each elements like facial features and body shape, and then the rendering style itself (lineart, shading, layer modes and all >w<)

For a gouache illustration (21 x 29.7cm / 8.3 x 11.7") like this, an entire week to produce the thumb and the detailed lineart, and another one to paint it. At least 80 hours.

This!! Coloring!! Book!! There's so much good art it's hard to choose what to color!!
For starters I picked 's wonderful lineart, picked a random palette, and set a b&w filter for that extra random effect. I kinda like it :o
