A reader thought Peter cried when Doc Ock sacrificed his identity so that Peter could have his body back.

That tear was cried two pages earlier *by* Doc Ock while he was still in control.

Like you said, I also like the moment Otto has with the child because it's a moment where he's more human and not going about how great he is. It's why I think the 2019 run is a huge improvement over the original, it has moments where Ock feels human.

Since Slott went in hard with the whole "Otto genuinely cared about Aunt May" (as well as other writers during Superior), there should've honestly been a whole thing where Ock saw the assassination attempt that wounded Aunt May in Peter's memories.
