NORMANDY

Since our first visit last June I’ve been captivated by the Normandy campaign. I knew so many men who were involved and visiting the landscapes of their stories was utterly inspiring. I can’t wait to return there next week.

I aim to pull at the heartstrings. I want my readers to feel the character's pain, their grief, their suffering.

There are moments of humor, but most of those aren't planned. I'm not that funny irl.

Back in 2012 I submitted a comic to a contest ran by the old publisher and won all kinds of Lackadaisy goodies I cherish to this day. It meant the world because the art of Lackadaisy was so inspiring. I wanted to reach that level of skill one day. Still trying! Lol
