Colours are of course easier to add, as well as wide brushes of various kinds that pencils simply cannot replicate.

But simple lines and shadows, that can be done with a pencil intuitively within seconds look much flatter or shaky by default.

Ill get used to this eventually.

Made some changes/additions in the car sprites (submerge, colored shadows, see-through dots). That means.. 24x128=3072 sprites to retouch and move around :o

Speaking of shadows, there's no background. I definitely don't have the energy to add one. But auth and Bubsette feel a bit "floating in a void"...

...So, a quick stylized shadow underneath their bodies. A quick and dirty trick to make them feel more "present", physically.
