Designs for @Pyroskies1’s Arken universe.
Goal was to not look too evil, while still retaining some of the intimidation factor. (Wanted it to work open face for this reason).
Pyro wanted a goggle/eye look rather than a visor.
Major inspiration was classical Chinese armor.

I attempted to draw him with traditional Maori face tattoos (since Venom sticks his tongue out, and sticking your tongue out is a sign of intimidation in Maori culture)
I didn't really get the assignment, but Venom looks snazzy!
Another of my early pew pew designs. As a young concept artist it was intimidating going from a sketch to 3d; not seeing how design would get lost in translation. I had to learn to bridge the gap between 2d to 3d.
