so I found a way dat flattens the model's normals based on where the camera is.........basically it automates the process of normal editing. I hope to make a vid bout da process soon. (more info in the comments in comments)

@jaap_null @Edenwaith has also tried some code to automate the CGA16 palette, with mixed results as well! My process is usually increasing saturation and contrast, making the resolution lower, forcing the palette to CGA16, and then doing a lot of work by hand!
(the old system also required me to place transitions at every boundary, which couldve been automated but wouldve required a lot more work for a broken system)
