In Grimoire of Souls, there are at least 2 references to Castlevania 64. In this illustration by Ayami Kojima, we see a version of Death that appears to have wings. And one of the enemies we see in the game is the Weretiger.
“Castlevania legacy of darkness” is a game I never hear anyone talk about.
One character I remember was Renon, a “Salesman” you sign a contact with and sells you stuff. If you buy too much from him he becomes an optional boss, cause contract says he gets your soul if you do.
