basically, instead of toning the exaggerated features down, she completely erased them. Now ofc every black person doesn't look the same, BUT, there are black people w big lips and big noses and those features shouldn't be seen as ugly (2/?)

Characters are young adults, but much older than the gaang. Their eyes are much smaller and much closer to realistic proportions which give them an older appearance. It’s even the same for adults in ATLA. Their facial proportions are much less exaggerated making them look older

I really hated how stubby he looked. He kinda looked younger than I had anticipated. Made the large cartoonish eyes less exaggerated and certain features more distinguishable.
