Mystique uses all her resourcefulness to get Destiny on the Quiet Council of Krakoa. Writer Jonathan Hickman, Artist Stefano Caselli, Colorist David Curiel: Hickman’s strength of plot is here, but with Caselli, pulls off strong character development too. 4.5/5

At least that’s Hickman’s take on these two characters. We still got several “Erik no” moments in the Krakoa era. Nothing surprising about writers interpreting character dynamics differently. Though I feel like sometimes it works - other times it gets kinda jarring

I don’t think she’ll ever fully be the Captain Britain who operates solely out of the UK but will forever be seen as Krakoa’s Captain Britain. Otherworld/Avalon, Krakoa, and Braddock Isle will be her domains. Her new costume and colors amplify that.
