the US Navy Tier 2, tentatively the F4X Marauder. The design is intended to invoke Crimson Sky's Devastator in its layout, but with the details and shapes of the F4U Corsair.

As planes go, its a bit slow, but its tough as hell and can turn surprisingly well.

Here’s the Time Lapse of making this. You can see the progression of figuring out the concept, then layout, color and the eventual struggle with lighting. Shading is where 90% of bad illustrations go wrong but I wanted it to be creepy and dramatic
