Great key animation work by Toshiaki Hontani here, he's also responsible for many of the best effects cuts of the late 1980s, being featured on works like Megazone 23, Battle Royal Highschool, and Akira! Tatsuyuki Tanaka did the human stuff below, with Hontani doing the effects.
