Despite this wild synopsis, the story itself is actually funny and wholesome, with these two fools getting into multiple funny misunderstandings as they fall in love. But of course, it’s a mature manga and still as kinky as you’d expect, so beware of that before reading it.
However, his style ended up making some misunderstandings. Watanabe uses a lot of shading and shadows, it was something he needed to do in order to cut development time, but it's basically now part of the "Digimon feel".
