I’m not a fan of repeating panels unless they serve a purpose, and, here, I did it to show how little effort Kokin put in to neutralising this threat.

And he literally expends no energy: Kokin is the static element of those two panels.

Time to say it, but I personally find the 15 version of the restricted chapters so much more enjoyable to read because mojito replaces the extreme scenes with more exposition rather than cheap censorship of pre-existing 18 version panels.

But there are multiple examples of good artistic representation in Stars&Strife that both readers and creators must not miss. It helps the reader understand what's really going on. One other I liked was Vicki presented as something akin to the rabid Old Yeller in these panels.

I think readers are prone to enjoying cleverly crafted lines in A pioneer of this I think would be HM Bateman who put together a very convincing “sound” of Baby Cuts A New (1927).
