One thing I have not paid attention too until now is the head writer of Medarot which is Ryota Yamaguchi (山口 亮太 .)

He has been head writer (series composition) for a bunch of shows. He also did the series composition for Sailor Moon Sailor Stars before Medarot.

Remember those character design challenges? This is a young prodigy baker who is very tired of doing baking shows. The toy rabbit is always with them and is absolutely sentient and has stakes in its owner’s success. Since this is two characters it counts as day 1 and 2.

God I've been rewatching Steven Universe and it's still SO FUCKING GOOD. SU is still one of my favorite shows. I adore everything about it, and It's helped me grow as an artist for sure! I remember how much fun it was to design characters and the friends I made drawing fusions!!!
