@PeanutStuffs @The_Gibus_Man @TheNCSmaster Nah, the old Yoshi games had it as an aesthetic choice. The new ones turned it into literal crafts. It's kinda like Paper Mario. It's not like they can't do a more stylistic approach in 3D either. Mystery Dungeon did it. The filters in Super Mario Odyssey too.

@twilightzeIda Hyrule Warriors Link was definitely the best in-game modeled Link. Stylistically, my favorite Link is Twilight Princess Link. Even the Zelda styled in there was my favorite, so elegant. I like BotW Zelda in her regal blue dress, but completely dumping the traditional dress 💔

I really enjoy this stylistic choice of soft bodily curves accompanied by geometric edges. It's honestly a great fit for the pixel-characters of Undertale/Deltarune and they deserve more support/love for their work in general!
