R the Wolf Gift Art!
I drew this for my awesome friend R the Wolf. I had a blast drawing his character! As usual I continue to push myself to experiment and try new techniques, and I'm very satisfied with how this turned out.
Wanted to draw something outside my comfort zone, so here's a fursona art of me as a raccoon :P
Disclaimer: I'm not a furry or furry artist. As such, I wanted to make it unique by not basing it on established furry art conventions/techniques, and by taking many creative liberties
Ros Ridley has written about how she dealt with creative blocks during lockdown. She started by trying out new techniques, like this hare, rendered in ink.

Digital Practice. I'm Trying a few different shading techniques, the first one I've tried is the more " "realistic" blending option seen in the bottom pictures. I will be trying other shading styles like cell shading and such. I'm not sure what kind of style I want to go for.
trying out different shading techniques, i've felt my art has been a bit dull looking with how i normally do shading
if any artists out there have any tips or advice on cool ways i could do shading/lighting to make my art pop out more please let me know in the comments or in dms!
@Darkeyed19 Hi! I've been doing pixel art for almost a year. I'm still exploring techniques, styles, etc. I really like to try new things.
Huh, I thought I'd done more of these. Anyway, I think these are all my spitpaint attempts from January. Tried some new techniques, challenged some old ways, identified seemingly endless things to learn and improve. A promising start to 2021 despite, um, *gestures at everything*.
Took my time with this one haha, Tried out some new techniques, had fun with this on.
