Side Note: as a general rule of thumb (but not always) you can kind of tell when art was drawn by Nomura (left) vs other Square Enix artists (right) because his drawings tend to be more static, less cartoony, and use sharper angles. Always should check for written credit tho.

What I try is to go with kind of a realistic looking eye but in a cartoony way so like the colors are bright and stuff but it should look shaped like a human eye. I’m currently practicing it for new oc’s
